3) Time - Plenty of Time

Jakarta is a place where you can waste time in traffic. Time sensitive and time aware folks have a home office in their automobiles. Most executives have a car and driver, so time in the car can include reading the newspaper, relaxing or meditating, getting caught up with emails, conduct telephone meetings, and basically making good use of the time.

Some very inspiring folks time management gurus such as Poonam and Anil, even book time in for a morning, very early say 530am for a round of golf - I have personally enjoyed learning from the time gurus of Jakarta.

4) Learning is Everywhere - See Inspiration Everywhere!

The rapport master of the weekend was Anil, voted for his smile, his terrific questions, his attentive listening and his willingness to help others. Anil is sense of fairness and doing what is “right” contributed to his attraction. A skilled designer, word craftsperson, trader, and dealers are qualities that have allowed Anil to smoothly slide out of corporate life and enjoy the transfer to entrepreneurship.

This past weekend our youngest participant was Setia at 26 while our elder states people were Soekartono and his lovely bride Lien at 72 and 70, respectively - it is always wonderful to learn from people and remember that each on of us can learn from one another, especially in a cultural rich country like Indonesia, we truly can learn wonderful things, language, culture, food, traditions for each other. The key to learning as Lien shared with me is to ask a better question and then listen and learn.
