Kind Thanks
Many thanks to Michelle and the terrific life members in Dubai for a brilliant hospitality extended during my trip to one of the most dynamic areas in Asia Pacific! The XL Team in Dubai have created a wonderful sense of community. The support and encouragement amongst the group was very inspiring and I look forward to hearing about, and hopefully be involved in, many of the success stories in the coming weeks, months and years.

Insights and Distinctions
Law of Attraction in Action - As I write this note, Tiger Woods is arriving fresh from winning the Buick Open in the United States. Tiger will be headlining the Dubai Golf Classic this week, the Dubai Formula One is next week and the newly crowned Australian Tennis Champ Roger Federer will be in town for the Dubai Tennis Class next month.

Trends of bigger and bolder is better – Dubai announces new airport project to be the biggest in the region to capture high wealth travel, handle increased tourists and higher immigration as the state’s population increases from 2 to 10 million in the next five years.

The amount of construction going on in Dubai is startling and I have never witnessed so much construction per square foot than in the Jumeirah district near the 7 Star Burj Al Arab Hotel. Seems cranes and construction is everywhere in Dubai and I heard that 20% of the world’s cranes are in Dubai while Shanghai has 30% - given the different land masses of Shanghai vrs Dubai, the density of construction is amazing.

The vast display of construction is showing some signs of over extending itself, as the world’s tallest tower, the $900 million Burj Dubai, currently under construction is months off schedule. Dubai is truly a vibrant marketplace

Opportunity Knocks
It was a pleasure to introduce the XL Results Foundation Wealth Shift program to Dubai and it was great to hear about the different business opportunities that our member are involved in, in Dubai.

If you think lights, you must consider Juliet and her husband Renholt from Switzerland. The dynamic couple represent a number of leading European lighting firms in Dubai and have a distinquished list of clients in the banking, professional and government sectors in Dubai.

Marina stepped up and shone in the wealth shift program - Marina shared her world class training and coaching modules for time management, office efficiency and effectiveness. Marina’s clients are expanding and her reputation and professionalism were greatly enhanced throughout the weekend.

Michelle has stepped up with the Dubai City license and has decided to utilize the Wealth Dynamics profile systems as a key differentiator for her and her recruiting business in the Dubai and throughout the United Arab Emerites.

Legal Eagle Lord KK and his wife Harini shared about their focus on corporate litigation as well as their dream of starting some organic farms in their home town of Kerala India, the home of ayuvedic medicine. If you legal requirements or interested in organic farming – this is couple you must meet.

It was great to have a visiting LM from India, 30 something IT/Web designer and high end solutions provider Vishal – Vishal created a brilliant appearance and created some wonderful attraction with the LM’s in Dubai.

Gail and Antje as well as Shamsa have pitched in to work with Bernard. Bernard is joined in Dubai by his younger brother Patrick from Las Vegas to make the business a family affair. Our construction engineer Lord Temari shared some key successes in 2006 including a billion dollar construction project, completing his masters and enthusiastically raising his three children in Dubai.

Finally Gaby from Germany stepped up this weekend and commenced discussion on building a team to take XL to Germany. Congrats Gaby and best of luck to build your team and plan your business.

Action Steps
In discussions with Michelle, it would be great for XL Dubai and the entire XL network if she and her team could get an interview or perhaps a cover story with Tiger, Roger or perhaps Ferrari Boss Alonso in the coming months. Dubai is definitely a lively, dynamic and high touch marketplace and the efforts of XL Dubai to continue with some buddy coaching, lead exchange and generation will continue to see this environment to flourish.

In the coming three months, XL Dubai will have Awesome momentums featuring  Service Guru and LM from the United States Ron Kaufman, Sales Guru and LM from Canada Bob Urichuk and a guest appearance by the dynamic, energetic, and entrepreneurial LM from Australia Samantha Backman.

Best of luck to our LM’s in Dubai and have fun!

Peace and Prosperity,
Dave

Ps..Incidently, Ki Ora is a Maori greeting that my good friend and awesome cultural sensei  Marewa shared with me during our first coaching session in New Zealand in 2005.
