Cherry Blossoms, Speaking and Coaching in Tokyo

Spring Speaking in Japan - April 5 to April 7

cherry blossoms in japan WOW - na tsu ka shi - it has been 11 years since i experienced the Cherry Blossom season in Japan and it was absolutely de-light-ful!

A brisk early morning walk along the sakura-dori area, breathing in the fresh fragrance of cherry blossoms was an equisite treat to my olfactory senses - “bloody brilliant” as my friend and business associate Samantha Backman would energetically add!

XL (extraordinary lives) Tokyo, the japanese arm of the XL entrepreneur results foundation, was the host of the two hour keynote and it was WOW - the audience was lively, energetic and hungry for some key learnings.

The EASE OF EXPERTISE - nine steps to turn a hobby into some pocket change and beyond shares nine simple, yet highly effective tools and techniques to turn your talent, interest or hobby into a healthy, growing and positive cash flow business.

Ideal for entrepreneurs, aspiring speakers, or professionals domain experts, the EASE TO EXPERTISE keynote unlocks hidden value and allow participants to smoothly and easily monetize intrinsic value!

What was great about tokyo?

- the cherry blossoms, temperature, the people and the food

What did you eat?

- i set a person record of three sushi meals in a day - lunch at JT building, dinner at Sushi Sei, and early morning (aka late late) night in roppongi

What did you learn?

- speaking with a translator has some wonderful issues about jokes and timing - hahaha - Tamami did a great job - our pre talk salsa dancing got us into the rhythm before the presentation - strongly recommend some interaction with the translator prior to going on stage.

What was the biggest change?

i visited the new complex Tokyo Midtown - WOW - what an incredible new centre, very close to Roppongi and Azabu and very upscale! Great restaurants and plenty of shops.

What was biggest surprise?

Was enjoying a relaxing libation at the new swanky Ritz Carlton and heard a big splash, turned around and someone fell into one of the fountain pools. Later in the evening as i was walking, i almost made the same tumble. Folks at Ritz, please do increase the lighting or place something that warms patrons of the sharp turn entering the bar.

Last Words,

Many thanks to Tamami, Masami, Ayuki, and team for coordinating the event as well to Max for the videoing. Look forward to speaking and coaching more in Japan and it was great to meet up with Kawamoto san and MR LUCKY for some insightful and stimulating coaching sessions.

Make magic happen,

Dave
