Asia Professonal Speakers Singapore - November Update from the Prez
|
|
3. Don’t do everything as “keynotes” - workshops and Q&A sessions tend to be most useful….page…
4. Make sure the organization is efficient and at a high level of professionalism. Speakers are used to business class hotels, being treated well by clients etc. You need to make it feel just as good, if not better, than a client conference in terms of admin/hospitality etc.
Thank you Graham for the suggestions and as a member of the organizing committee, we will certainly take these tips to heart. We are working with Roger Harrop and Frank Furness from of the UK, Scott Friedman and Dan Poynter from the USA, Rob Salisbury and Shelly Sykes from Australia, our Federation President Robyn Pierce from New Zealand, Dato Sheik from Malaysia, as well as Ron Kaufman, Mike Podlinsky and David Lim from Singapore to ensure that the programme is rich in content, professional in delivery, and enjoyable to experience.
We will have a series of keynotes highlighting our theme of “THE BUSINESS OF SPEAKING AND BEYOND” ( ) supported by some lively discussion in our breakout tracks and workshops on content development, internet marketing, personal branding, as well as some ASIAN flavor with a track on feng shui and panels on developing speaking networks in Thailand, China, Indonesia, Malaysian, and Singapore. Moving forward, I encourage all members to rally support for our Conference Chair Jyoti Mahbubani and the organizing committee to ensure that the event is a huge success for our Asia Professional Speakers Association in Singapore ( www.asiaspeakers.org ). www.apss2007.com
