XL Entrepreneur Life Shift - Christchurch

  XL Entrepreneur Life Shift - ChristChurch - August 12 – 13, 2007
 Chateau Christchurch

My first visit to Christchurch was AWESOME – what a beautiful place? The meandering river throughout the city was wonderfully introduced by super supporter Alika and her deal maker husband Rahul.

Biggest Learning
Big thank you to Rahul for showing me a successful strategy to working with his special partner!  As a fellow deal maker it was great to see and witness his approach to make his supporter feel wonderful. Some special presents, gifts and gestures can go a long way to boast esteem and confidence.
Inspiring Couples
Daryl and Sharon Williams married 30+ years and the way that they support and encourage one another and their thirst for learning is inspiring.
Engaging and Shifting
Great attraction created by Tiamara, very articulate and willing to help and work with others. We also had terrific feedback on coaching by Dr Jim, Andy, Mark, and Dr Gluten Free.
Social Enterprise Awareness
Mandy is looking for a partner in India that can build wells. Her main business is in waste disposal and her idea is that for each system that she puts in place in New Zealand can represents a well in India – let’s see what our friends at B1G1 (buy one give one) can do with Mandy.
Founder Rhyll Bergin of Step Up

STEP UP got plenty of attention as Christchurch was playing host to 400++ youth and 40++ coaches for a weekend of inspiring, motivation and changing lives.

Dine and Deal with Dave Launch in Christchurch
Launch of Dine and Deal With DaveAppreciate the support of Alika and Mathew in coordinating the launch of Dine and Deal with Dave in Christchurch. XL Entrepreneur Life Shift - Jakarta

PATT

Jakarta – July 28-29, 2007

Great weekend in Jakarta!

Socially Aware Entrepreneurs
Congratulations on a successful launch of the Plant A Tree Foundation in Indonesia with a tree planting day of 2000+ tress along with Ms Universe and the Minister of Environment.
Plant a Reef was also successfully launched in Jakarta with 10 plus divers taking the plunge to build and design a reef.
Big Event April 22nd 2008 – the team in Indonesia is planning to plant 1,000,000 trees on one day throughout Indonesia. Interested parties should contact Poonam.

Opportunities
Ghani and his television program – Wake UP Wealthy – is looking for participants for his program as well as possible corporate sponsors who would like to increase their profile and exposure in Indonesia.
Koentjoro has a terrific opportunity for people looking to get some real estate exposure in one of Jakarta’s most popular commercial and executive housing developments. Up to 600 metres of office or shop space is available.

Ramin is increasing his design and branding capabilities with increased space and a growing team in Indonesia. Opportunities to leverage with Ramin with overseas sales and marketing and delivering world class design and branding from Indonesia.

Launching XL Radio

Congratulations to Poonam and her team at XL Radio who are moving forward with the first 24 hour socially sensitive and positive messaging radio program featuring interviews, music, and news all with a positive slant. Stay tuned for the official launch at the beginning of September.

Biggest learning

I had the opportunity to keynote in front of 5,000 financial planners in Indonesia. It was a lot of fun with plenty of energy and enthusiasm at the Jakarta Expo.
In future talks one big learning to share is if I use an English to Bahasa translator it is imperative to reduce the amount of content by at least 40 to 50%, especially for a 90 minute keynote presentation.
Looking forward to many more Keynote Presentations and will definitely utilize more colorful images, impactful video, and cross cultural themes to connect,  encourage and inspire the Spirit of Enterprise throughout the world.

Make Magic Happen,
Dave

XL Entrepreneur Life Shift Program – Bangalore

Bangalore Times XL Entrepreneur Life Shift Program – Bangalore
July 14-15, 2007

Namaste with the “KIA ORA REPORT” from Bangalore,

One of the smoothest trips into and out of Bangalore in my six year travel history to Bangalore - I guess the “smooth and simple” mantra is serving me well.

Some facts about Bangalore
Bangalore has the impeccable record of highest growth over last 20 years
Bangalore has the highest number of 2-wheelers in the world.
Bangalore University produces the greatest number of doctors in India.
Bangalore has the richest people in India.
Bangalore was founded in 2nd Century and still has the same infrastructure drainage & sanitary systems - the oldest in the world.  – BELIEVE IT!
Bangalore has the dubious reputation for the highest 2-wheeler thefts.
Bangalore has the highest number of pubs in India – where?
Bangalore has the highest number of breweries in the world.
Bangalore has the highest number of Anglo-Indians in India.
Bangalore was the first city in India to receive electricity.
Bangalore has produced the highest number of professionals in USA - almost 60% of Indian population abroad are from Bangalore.
Bangalore has the highest density of traffic in the world.
Bangalore is considered the fashion capital of the East comparable to Paris – really?
Bangalore has produced the maximum international sportsmen in India for all sports ahead of even Mumbai & Delhi.
Bangalore has produced the maximum number of scientists considered for Nobel Prize nominations (from India).
Bangalore has the highest per capita of temples, mosques, churches & gurdwaras.
Bangalore has approximately 7 million people and it ROCKS!

KIND THANKS

Many thanks to the Alex and Prakesh in organizing a brilliant weekend. There were 43++ life members in attendance including four new life members thanks to the brilliant marketing week hosted by the STAR of Triumphant Events Glen Carson.

INSIGHTS AND AWARENESS

The concept of “detachment” was explored, debated, and applied in several discussions, experimental exercises, and sharing. The principal of school of principals Mr. Dutta was brilliant in articulating his thoughts, extensive experience and prospective so that we could all gain some greater distinctions.

By exploring the 5 Senses through curiosity, practice and self discovery, intuition appears magically. Each of us has a path to develop intuition that works wonders with time, people, and the art of manifestation.

Surprise to see in re-edited edition of the Secret, less than 30% of the life members in Bangalore had seen it, that Esther Hicks has been removed. I liked the first one better as I felt that she did add a wonderful dimension to the original. I love the Emotional Guidance systems and for me it works miracles.

OPPORTUNITIES

Weblaunch Care to join Team India on their quest to plant 2 billion, yes 2 billion tress. We had the official launch of the website and the team in Bangalore is looking very strong to make this a reality.

IT projects in the Land OF IT – WOW - in online learning talk to Manoj, for development talk to Balaji, for any IT projects perhaps talk to country manager Alex for the right sourcing for you.

Real estate – plenty of speculating going on in Bangalore, especially with the new airport coming online in 2008 –  I would give a ring to Anand and his billion tree planting team.

RESULTS Congratulation to Rupal for sharing his dream of supporting youth and adults with various blood disorders!

Narendenran for sharing his mission of improving clothing lines with special treated fabric to serve and protect people worldwide.

Awesome AJAY for creating attraction whenever he spoke as he spoke from the heart with wisdom and love!

And last but not least to Jenny from New Zealand who made the trip to India to explore the possibilities of XL Hotels and Spa’s, creating attraction, credibility and was connected with people who have the resources to make her dream a reality. The response to Jenny from the life members in Bangalore made me proud to be a XL Life member.

If you are interested in doing business in Bangalore, feel free to add a comment or question and i will gladly respond.

Have an EXTRAordinary month aheadMake Magic Happen,
Dave

Dubai in June 2007- Where is Walt?

Dubai in June 2007- Global Speakers Summit &

XL Entrepreneur Life Shift Coaching & Looking for Opportunities

“80% of success is showing up” - Woody Allen

KIND THANKS

– Michelle and Arcy did a splendid job organizing XL’s role at the Global Speakers Summit in Dubai as well as the XL Entrepreneur Life Shift program. Thank you ladies and thank you for spreading the mantra of XL in Dubai – “show up, step up, give back”

INSIGHTS AND AWARENESS - Dubai was a balmy 47 degrees celsius during the day, dropping down to 36 degrees during the evenings. This is a super time to visit Dubai, a month ahead of the summer heat when the temperature will tread to 54 degrees during the day. Being in Dubai in 2007, must be like being in Floride in the 1950 and 1960’s, when Walt Disney and his friends were discussing about Disneyland. With world class resources flowing into Dubai and amazing real estate developments like the PALMS or THE WORLD underway, Dubai’s progress is truly a site for eyes to see and for people around the world to experience.

 - with more that 60 five star hotels coming on line and a commitment of 10 billion DRM (3.7-1US) for entrepreneurship and leadership development, Dubai is a market to consider for people and talent development.

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS

- KK, our resident legal expert, is expanding his interest in environmentally friendly and economically sustainable projects with plans in Sri Lanka for fishing farming and tree planting. It was awesome to have KK joined by his wife and two daughters for the weekend program.

- international lighting entrepreneur, Reinout, has recently visited Kerala and is looking for “bright ideas” to expand his high-end energy efficient lighting solutions for hotels, office buildings, and enterprises interested lighting initiatives. - Michelle is introducing wealth dynamics to multinationals, human resource departments, and government agencies in Dubai interested in training, nurturing, and placing talent on the path of least resistance to their greatest wealth.

- Shamsa is sharing her market expertise and extensive network in Dubai with international investors interested in getting some exposure to one of the most dynamic real estate markets in the world – excerpt from the Dubai world – “ Forget the leaning tower of Pisa, the Colosseum, Stonehenge or even the pyramids - there’s a new world wonder in town and it’s right here in Dubai. The Burj Al Arab Hotel has been voted one of the seven new wonders of the world, alongside the Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera House and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. Designed by architect Tom Wright, the 28-storey-high, all-suite hotel, the highest in the world, set out to be an iconic or symbolic statement for the emirate - “similar to Sydney with its opera house or Paris with the Eiffel Tower”

RESULTS - great to hear how life members in Dubai are working together to share leads, wisdom, and experience. Akash, Dino and Kamal are three dynamic businessmen in Dubai with extensive trading relationship around the world. Congratulations to Kamal on securing a “significant” distribution deal for high class luggage and suitcases.

- Some great buddy coaching with Temari and his intention to enhance his financial acuity, Gaby with expanding her coaching business, Antje with her pending real estate deals, and a number of life members looking to improve their health and wellness ratings. - Time to practice and utilize the coaching. Share with family, friends, and associates in your business. En-joy the new distinctions and awareness, build rapport, create attraction and Make Magic Happen!

Continually Shifting,

Dave

Talent, Recruit, Train & Retain - Sawadee Krap from Bangkok

Sheri, W Mitchell, Callum, Scott and Dave

Sawadee Krap from Bangkok

Just back from Bangkok where I conducted a one day workshop on Talent, Recruit, n and Retain at the  lovely Royal Orchid Sheraton along with W Mitchell, Scott Friedman, and Shari Harley.

Shari led the day with some solid content, useful tools, techiques, and strategies for Human resource professionals. Shari has a clear, easy to follow style that made her very popular with the predominately Thai audience.

Scott utilized his wit and humor in getting the audience, engaged, entertained and enthused. Scott received the loudest applause of the day with four rounds of roaring interactive energizers.

W Mitchell with dear friend from USA
W Mitchell – twice in one week to see W Mitchell weave his magic. WOW! Mitchell tailored his talk to HR professionals and got the audience entranced with his masterful pauses, clear and succinct pronounciation and powerful message – “it aint what happens to you, it’s what you do about it”

My presentation focused on Talent Management using Wealth Dynamics - Finding the Path of Least Resistance. This was a ninety minute keynote that focused on the law of attraction, developing expertise in the HR field, and building you as an integral part of buidling a team!

It was a terrifc event and many thanks to our organizers Callum, Bunny, Carrie, and Hong and the sponsors at MobyElite, XL, Bangkok Post and jobjob.

Back today to Singapore and the National Achievers Congress with Roger, Mark V Hanson, T Harv Acker and five other top speakers from around the world.

Have a brilliant week ahead,
Dave
