Who would Entreprenenurs in Hong Kong would love to meet?
During my visit to Hong Kong, Dine and Deal with Dave (http://www.dineanddealwithdave.com) met up with some inspiring social entrepreneurs – business leaders supporting the environment, or supporting animal protection, or supporting children education in Nepal or encouraging shifts in education in HK, or supporting racial harmony in Africa.
Asked who would you like to meet during your life time?
1) Attracting at least 5%  – tie between the following people like David Bowie, Bob Geldof, Jackie Chan, Bono, Donald Trump, Richard Branson, Angeline Jolie and David Attenborough

2) 30% of the surveyed chose - Dali Lama or  Al Gore

3) 50% of the  of the voters would like to meet Oprah
It appears that Oprah is as popular in Hong Kong as she is in North America and whispers suggest that Oprah is planning an Asia tour the coming months to build on her already high brand value.

XL Entrepreneur Life Shift - Highlights from Hong Kong – August 24- 26

  
Thank you to Dr Merrin and Louise for revitalizing and re-energizing the Hong Kong environment. Since arriving in Hong Kong, Dr Merrin has been sharing some much needed tools to “ECO-TIZE” and build awareness for socially conscious business and individuals. For speaking opportunities for the environment and practical guidance for eco-friendly approaches, contact Dr Merrin.

Our noble lord, Louise has also been active and has teamed with our dynamo of import and export Hong Kong based and globally traveling Lizette in sourcing and distributing of new world wines (in additiona to wines, Lizette is a world class expert in speciality textiles with two decades of front line experience)
It was a very vibrant group in Hong Kong with 30+ folks participating this weekend. Our newest Life Member Frances WOW’ed everyone with her authenticity, genuineness and inspiring sharing!

Welcome to all the new life members (including Helen, Cat, Lizette, Stephanie, Vincent, Chew Yen,) and it was great to re-connect with some of the pioneers of XL Hong Kong (Nora, Ian, Yvonne, Wendy, Jeff, Frank, Katherine, and Judy).
XL Coaching Accreditation

Congratulations to Vivienne and Alexandra on completing their XL Coaching Accreditation. With 20 years plus in the financial field, Vivienne brings wisdom and professionalism to her executive coaching practice. IN addition, she is active in raising awareness and funds for Kenya, a voice for a vibrant Kenya, Vivienne is sponsoring activities throughout the world and with a Specific focus to provide eye-sight treatments and simple sight restoration for blind Kenyans
Alexandra special blend of creativity called Brandology brings the heart and mind and spirit into the brand development, nurturing, and implementation for individuals and organizations. With experience throughout Asia Pacific, Alexandra’s team of 12 is expanding into new and exciting markets such as the Middle East and Europe.

On the Give Back side, Alexandra is doing some wonderful work with the Hong Kong Dog Rescue group and even brought along her newest family member Jesse, a gorgeous little doggie that she just adopted last month from the Rescue Service. Jesse was a terrific member of the coaching group and demonstrated some outstanding Rapport building strategies.
Social Entrepreneur Accreditation
Viviene and Lizette created some wonderful attraction this past weekend and also submitted their SEA forms to me to pass to Mission Control in Singapore.
 

Special acknowledgement and congratulations to Helen and her efforts with the Tabitha Foundation in Cambodia, in November Helen and 20 plus of her students will be traveling to Cambodia to build homes for families. By sharing her plans Helen created some wonderful attraction from the Hong Kong group as well as some much needed funds to make her teams plans a reality.

 
Special Notes 
One final update was that a group of Hong Kong Members will be performing some stand up comedy in Hong Kong. Maria has really stepped up and is NOW the  first Cantonese speaking Stand UP female comedian at the club. She will be joined by the youthful articulate, loving, adorable, and naughty Alan and our Country Manager Dr Merrin.

 Thank you for the support for the Spirit of Enterprise Awards. The voting is in and I am pleased to advise that I have been selected as one of the receipients of this year’s Spirit of Enterprise in Singapore.

Special thank you to Summer for the kind nominations, Georgina for conducting the interviews, Joy for reaching out to friends, colleagues and associates, to the XL HO Team (Roger, Margaret, Ian, Irene, and Daryl, Penny & the team) and all the extraordinary members of the XL who are applying the XL formula for Making a Difference - Show Up, Step Up and Give Back! Look forward to seeing you in the weeks, months and years to come.

As part of my personal plans for 2008, I would love to share some of the key principles on ENTREPRENEURSHIP that life members have taught me over the past five years in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Japan, the UK, USA, Indonesia, and Canada.
The series of keynote presentation will be encompassing the Spirit of Enterprise and will include the most important elements of entrepreneurship including the  the 7 steps to creating attraction, the life blood of your business, FLOW, awareness leadership, team dynamics, and finding your yin/yang approach to nurturing the spirit for your enterprise.

Masters Entrepreneur Business School – Aug 14 – 20, 2007

What do you get when you combine the beautiful Bali Experience with 12 energized entrepreneurs, 12 business plans, 6 Mentors and shake in the insightful  downloads and fabulous framework of the master magician Roger Hamilton?
One gets a week of learning, personal discovery, and an awareness of ALCHEMY that only comes from experience.
As I reflect on the week, in addition to the wealth of practical business tips, strategies, tools, and applications that will certainly take the business to the next level, I am pleased to share some of the PROMISES that I made as part of this week of transformation.
Let’s make it personal in this section as I made a few promises that I would like to share in my blog
 
- Identify deals for Callum and support his activities with Network for Success
- work with Rachelle through coaching and connecting as she builds herself and her property business
- connect with Justyn in developing the deal flow from XL Cafes
- co-create an International Best Selling Book with Mike Southon to unleash the partnership guide to amazing partnership or the deal makers guide to wealth dynamics
- collaborate with Paul to share the mission of B1G1 and to be attract two or three big players into the B1G1 plan
- investigate the Japanese real estate market and share with Jeff as well as support him in his business activity
-  develop strategic alliances and specifically look for affiliates to support Daniel and this global expansion
- Support Gail and her activities and provide her with a deal makers perspective to business and personal relationships
- Work with Rod with his business activities in developing workable and successful models in Perth and Sydney
- Review and advise Leon on this proposals and agreements as he moves his business plans beyond the concept stage.
- Direct, frank and supportive feedback to Cecelia as she expands her brand and enterprise

Promise to myself – continue to seek awareness, insights and distinctions through gateways and channels and continue to share and apply to make a positive difference.

My personal promise, for which I am grateful and appreciative to be aware of is:
 to reconnect, re-activate and reclaim the mysteries of alchemy,  to share the appreciation and application of divine wisdom and divine timing and to share the appreciation of divine beauty.

  XL Entrepreneur Life Shift - ChristChurch - August 12 – 13, 2007 
 

My first visit to Christchurch was AWESOME – what a beautiful place? The meandering river throughout the city was wonderfully introduced by super supporter Alika and her deal maker husband Rahul.
 

Biggest Learning
Big thank you to Rahul for showing me a successful strategy to working with his special partner!  As a fellow deal maker it was great to see and witness his approach to make his supporter feel wonderful. Some special presents, gifts and gestures can go a long way to boast esteem and confidence.
Inspiring Couples
Daryl and Sharon Williams married 30+ years and the way that they support and encourage one another and their thirst for learning is inspiring.
Engaging and Shifting
Great attraction created by Tiamara, very articulate and willing to help and work with others. We also had terrific feedback on coaching by Dr Jim, Andy, Mark, and Dr Gluten Free.
Social Enterprise Awareness
Mandy is looking for a partner in India that can build wells. Her main business is in waste disposal and her idea is that for each system that she puts in place in New Zealand can represents a well in India – let’s see what our friends at B1G1 (buy one give one) can do with Mandy.

STEP UP got plenty of attention as Christchurch was playing host to 400++ youth and 40++ coaches for a weekend of inspiring, motivation and changing lives.

Dine and Deal with Dave Launch in Christchurch
Appreciate the support of Alika and Mathew in coordinating the launch of Dine and Deal with Dave in Christchurch. It was great to connect with Allan, Jenny, Celia, Mandy, Mathew and Alika during the session. With our meal, six kids in India will be fed and educated for up to six months.
Look forward to seeing hotels in India be invested in, Oprah visiting New Zealand, water treatment be expanded in India, Connections for Business in China developed, and Step Up to be a huge success!
